Description
Concanavalin A (ConA) Magnetic Beads are superparamagnetic polymer microspheres with Concanavalin A covalently coupled to their surface. These beads are characterized by uniform dispersion and strong magnetic responsiveness. In the presence of Ca²⁺ and Mg²⁺ ions, ConA magnetic beads enable rapid and efficient isolation and purification of biomolecules such as polysaccharides, glycoproteins, and glycolipids through the specific affinity of ConA for terminal α-D-mannosyl and α-D-glucosyl groups. Additionally, ConA magnetic beads offer a convenient method for cell isolation or immobilization, minimizing cell loss during subsequent washing steps. They can also be used for nuclear isolation and immobilization, and are directly applicable in CUT & RUN and CUT & TAG (innovative techniques derived from ChIP-seq) assays.
